ATOMI Institute: The bank has a longstanding commitment to supporting ATOMI, an institute focused on nurturing intelligence and talents. In 2023, with financial backing from the bank, ATOMI published a book titled “You Know Your Child is Gifted When…,” offering valuable guidance for parents. The book elaborates on identifying and understanding gifted children, outlining their distinctive traits, and providing advice on fostering their growth and success.

We support cultural institutions, organizations, and young artists to foster creativity, preserve heritage, and enrich our community's cultural landscape.

PriFest - Prishtina International Film FestivalIn 2023: PriFest, a prominent film event marked its 15th anniversary, and at Raiffeisen Bank, we are proud to have supported its successful journey since day one. The festival offers a rich program of movies and other activities related to the film industry, such as workshops and discussions. Additionally, music nights are also part of the festival. PriFest gathers artists and movie fans from Kosovo, the region and beyond.

Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina: Established in 2010, the Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina is dedicated to classical music. Held annually, typically in spring, the festival brings together artists who perform classical masterpieces for an audience eager to attend such events. The bank is a longstanding partner of the festival.

Kosova Art Gallery: The bank has a longstanding partnership with the Art Gallery in Kosovo, emphasizing its dedication to supporting the country's arts scene. The gallery serves as a one of the main hubs for artistic expression, hosting numerous exhibitions throughout the year.

Autostrada Biennale: Autostrada Biennale is an international contemporary art exhibition held every two years since its inception in 2017. The latest edition, held in 2023, featured art events in both Prizren and Prishtina.

The Festival of Theaters: The Festival of Theaters is a significant event in Ferizaj, established over 50 years ago. Alongside its diverse program of plays, the festival offers panel discussions on topics related to theater and culture. The bank has been a longstanding supporter of this festival.

Kosovo Volleyball Federation: In 2023, the bank entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Kosovo Volleyball Federation, becoming its main sponsor. Under the agreement, both the men’s and women’s leagues are named Raiffeisen Superliga, and the sponsorship extends to the national team as well. Volleyball is gaining momentum in Kosovo, and the bank is pleased to contribute to its growth and success.

Kosovo Football Federation: The bank renewed its partnership with the Kosovo Football Federation in 2024. According to a sponsorship agreement, the bank is the main sponsor of the First League (Raiffeisen Liga e Pare). The renewal of support emphasizes the banks’ ongoing commitment to supporting this sport.

Social responsibility

We prioritize initiatives that promote fairness and community welfare, ensuring a positive impact on society.

As a responsible bank we also see our role in the community we operate and supporting by investing in local development and educational programs.

Cultural and Educational Support: Supported local arts programs and educational initiatives that promote financial literacy. This includes partnerships with schools to integrate financial education into curricula.

Community Engagement Projects: For five years, Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo in cooperation with the charity Stepic CEE, has donated schoolbags, school materials and tablets to assist online learning. Recipients to date have included schools in the cities of Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan and Mitrovica. The cooperation with the CEE charity was continued in 2023, with 530 schoolbags and useful school
materials being distributed to pupils from 26 schools in the Peja district.

Partnerships: The bank actively seeks to align its community investment strategies with national and local government objectives, particularly in areas like education, environmental sustainability, and social welfare. 

Donation of used assets: Throughout the years, the bank has extended its support to various organizations by donating its used assets. For instance, in 2023, in collaboration with UNICEF, the bank contributed two used vehicles: one to a Main Family Medicine Center and another to a Social Center in Lipjan

Additionally, other assets such as chairs, desks, and cabinets were also donated to various organizations. Furthermore, the bank has also donated staff uniforms to Teshavesha, a charity shop that supports mothers and children in Kosovo by providing clothes through donations and sales.

Donation of school bags and equipment: In cooperation with the Vienna-based CEE Stepic Charity, the bank donated 530 school bags and equipment to pupils in the Municipality of Peja in 2023. This initiative began five years ago, and since then, the bank has expanded its efforts to other cities, including Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, and Mitrovica. Additionally, during the pandemic, the bank donated tablets to facilitate online learning.

Environment

We support efforts that promote eco-friendly practices ensuring a greener future for all.

Boost Kosova acceleration program:The bank supports UNDP Kosovo’s Boost Kosovo, a project which intends to prepare businesses to adapt to climate change impacts while accelerating the shift towards sustainable business practices. The bank has been a partner in the program for two editions (2023 and 2024).

Green Festival: Held in Mitrovica, the Green Festival plays a role in raising awareness about environmental topics. Comprising a diverse range of activities such as panel discussions and cycling events, the festival encourages community engagement and promotes sustainable practices.

INDEP and the Council for Sustainable Development: In March 2023, the bank supported an event organized by INDEP and the Council for Sustainable Development titled "The SDG Progress: A Concrete Approach." The event focused on discussions surrounding various aspects of achieving a more sustainable future, including topics such as social welfare, renewable energy, digital transformation, and inclusiveness in the education system.

Sustainability Leadership Kosova – Green Wing project: The bank supports the Green Wings project dedicated to reforestation. By utilizing drones for tree planting, the project aims to revitalize forests in Prishtina and promote environmental sustainability. Implemented by Sustainability Leadership Kosova in partnership with Municipality of Prishtina and USAID Kosovo Adapt Activity, this initiative demonstrates the potential of technology and innovation in tackling environmental challenges. The project was solemnly launched in May 2024, while the tree planting will take place during 2024.
